The Brocon Construction leadership team has over 160+ years combined experience in the industry. Our team of professionals is proud of the work we do and always is ensuring we deliver quality products and services.

President and Founder

George “Bud” Brobst

Bud has nearly 36 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and has completed more than 10 million square feet of office, retail, hospital, medical office, warehouse facility, and worship facility projects. In 1988, George founded Brocon Construction, Inc. as a contractor specializing in metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustic ceilings. With many years of hard work, dedication, and loyal clients, Bud and his team continued as a sub-contracting business and began providing project management and supervision. In 2003, he transitioned Brocon Construction to become a general contracting business while continuing to self-perform as a sub-contractor. Today, Bud continues to provide strategic oversight and support for every area of the company. With his executive leadership and unmatched experience, he provides estimating services, project management, and general management guidance, including developing and directing overall operations as well as achieving financial objectives and controlling the growth of the company.

Vice President, Design and Construction Services

Keith Coleman, LEED AP

Keith has dual BS degrees from the University of Cincinnati in Architectural Engineering and Construction Management. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional with over 25 years of experience in construction. Keith has completed design/build projects with budgets ranging from $100K to $18M, including everything from ground-up developments to Class A office tenant improvement projects. A large portion of his career has been focused on large, industrial warehousing and light manufacturing developments, including many projects for Fortune 500 companies.

 

Senior Project Manager

Tony Marino, LEED AP

Tony brings 31 years of highly diversified construction experience to Brocon. He has worked on numerous projects as either an on-site superintendent or project manager with budgets ranging from $50K to $50M. He has overseen construction of Single and Multi-family Residential Developments, Class A Commercial Office Space, Industrial and Light Manufacturing ground up construction as well as some Historical Renovation.  Tony is also a LEED Accredited Professional who is committed to customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication.

Project Manager

Dan Tooker

Dan has 31 years of experience in the commercial construction industry specializing in new construction and tenant improvements. Since completing the Carpenters Local 200 (4) Year Apprenticeship Program in 1986, Dan has gained an in-depth knowledge while working as a carpenter, foreman, and superintendent before being promoted to Project Manager in 1999. Dan has completed projects with budgets ranging from $10K to $2.5 million and is involved in all aspects of construction including estimating, scope development, and on-site management while ensuring that each project meets the time, cost, and quality expectations of the customer.

 

Project Manager

Steve Rowe

Steve manages Brocon’s Specialty Projects group as a dedicated Project Manager servicing The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center including 14 outlying facilities. Steve has more than 21 years of experience and employment with Brocon Construction. With his thorough knowledge, acquired after valuable years of field and estimating experience, he successfully manages 21 full-time employees and prepares cost estimates and proposals for 10 OSUMC Project Managers. As a team the Specialty Projects group efficiently fulfills daily maintenance work orders, emergency repairs and small renovation projects. Steve’s ability to provide effective estimating and careful job planning has maintained an excellent working relationship with OSUMC for the past 5 years.

Senior Estimator

Shawn Geddes

Shawn works within Brocon’s Self-Perform group and possess over 21 years of experience and employment with Brocon Construction. In conjunction with his field experience and estimating knowledge, Shawn holds a solid understanding of drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, general carpentry and interior finishes such as doors/frames/hardware and restroom accessories.  Shawn provides thorough, comprehensive pricing for projects ranging from $1K to $2 million including hospital, medical office, corporate office, retail space, warehouse and worship facilities. Shawn alongside the field supervisors and field crew, together work as a team dedicated to providing a quality product on schedule.

Chief Financial Officer

Lori Goodrich

Lori has over 21 years of managerial and sales experience comprising more than 13 years of accounting and office management and 8 years at Brocon Construction, Inc. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management/Accounting and has completed numerous continuing education courses. Lori’s main responsibility is to manage the cash flow position throughout the company including over $16 million in sales in 2014. She maintains relationships with external auditors, brokers, and agents and maximizes cost-effective benefit packages for all employees.

Senior Project Accounting Manager

Jennifer Vance

Jennifer has 14 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.  She has gained an in-depth knowledge of project accounting since beginning her career at Brocon Construction Inc. in 2002. Jennifer is responsible for overseeing all projects financial and cost accounting functions as well as contract documents. She works closely with project managers to devise the project budget, manages billing and performs cost assessments. Jennifer has a thorough knowledge of the standard AIA Contract Documents, including Design-Build, Conventional and Small Projects. She has successfully managed project accounts ranging from $1,000 to $1.5 million.

Safety Coordinator

Bryan Goodrich

Bryan has over 20 years of managerial experience and has been with Brocon Construction, Inc. for five years. He has successfully completed many safety-related courses including Basic Construction Safety (OSHA 30), Construction Safety Elements (OSHA 10), and OSHA Record Keeping. With a primary responsibility for the Health and Safety program at Brocon, Bryan’s continuing education allows him to stay up to date with industry standards and OSHA regulations so that Brocon remains dedicated to ensuring a safe and injury-free work environment.

Tim has 42 years of experience and 25 years with Brocon Construction.

Mark Lupo

Mark has 40 years of experience and 25 years with Brocon Construction.

Shawn Murray

Shawn has 30 years of experience and 15 years with Brocon Construction.

Steve Sturgell

Steve has 27 years of experience and 5 years with Brocon Construction.
